Sundiata
SUNDIATA (2003) is an adaptation of the African nation-building myth in which a Malian child-prince, born crippled, liberates his people from Sumanguru, the evil King of the rival Sosso people.
One in a series of fairy tales and other literary adaptations, springing from Eisner's work in television. Other books in the series published by NBM include The Princess and the Frog, The Last Knight, and Moby Dick.
