Eisner Award Nominations

2012 Nominees for Will Eisner Awards have been announced by Comic-Con International in 27 different categories.  
Chosen by a panel of independent judges, the nominees reflect the wide range of material being published in comics and graphic novel form today.  
Publications from forty publishers are represented with DC Comics and Marvel tied for the most total nominations.  
More information about the Eisner Awards can be found at the Comic-Con Website. 
The Will Eisner Awards are considered to be the Oscars of the Comics Industry and are held each July during San Diego Comic-Con.
